RX REFRACTORY GRADE SELECTION
Each of the three grades of RX Refractory Coating has a different temperature range and a different glazing temperature. It is important that the coating reach its glazing temperature. An unglazed coating will not perform properly. After the coating has been glazed, it can be operated at any temperature below its maximum temperature.
| Grade | Glazing Temp.degrees F | Maximum Temp. degrees F |
| RX-14 | 1,400 | 2,200 |
| RX-21 | 2,100 | 2,800 |
| RX-36 | 2,700 | 3,600 |
Listed below are the recommended grades of RX Coatings for use with various types of equipment.
